James and the Giant Peach Jr ( ages 7-16, all youth are cast)

A delightfully offbeat adaptation of the classic Roald Dahl adventure, a boy and his insect
friends take an amazing journey across the ocean.
Based on one of Roald Dahl’s most poignantly quirky stories, Roald Dahl's James and the
Giant Peach JR. is a brand new take on this "masterpeach" of a tale. Featuring a wickedly
tuneful score and a witty and charming book, this adventurous musical about courage and selfdiscovery is destined to be a classic.
When James is sent by his conniving aunts to chop down their old fruit tree, he discovers a
magic potion that grows a tremendous peach, rolls into the ocean and launches a journey of
enormous proportions. James befriends a collection of singing insects that ride the giant piece
of fruit across the ocean, facing hunger, sharks and plenty of disagreements along the way.

PLEASE NOTE: Early registration for this show will end at 9pm on Thursday January 21st. A late fee of $50 will automatically be added to all registrations (online registration and in-person online registration) after 9pm on 1/21. Registration for this show will close at 5:45pm on Friday 01/22/27.

Tuition & Fees

The tuition and costume fee for this production is $350 for youth ages 7-16, 10% sibling discount. Sibling discount on 2nd registration will be refunded via PayPal within 24 hours of payment received.

A digital copy will be available for purchase of this production.   Within 3 business days after a production has been recorded, cast members and parents will receive an email with a link to purchase and download the video to their choice of device. That link can be forwarded by the cast members and parents, making it easier for family and friends to also purchase and download a copy of the production recording.

Audition Information

Those auditioning should bring an accompaniment on a mobile device to sing with. You may also sing acapella if needed.
