Honk! JR. is a heartwarming celebration of being different that is sure to delight audiences of all ages with its sparkling wit, unique charm and memorable score. Witty and hilarious, but also deeply moving, Honk! JR. will treat your audiences to equal amounts of laughter and tears.

Ugly looks quite a bit different from his darling duckling brothers and sisters. The other animals on the farm are quick to notice and point this out, despite his mother's protective flapping. Feeling rather foul about himself, the little fowl finds himself on an adventure of self-discovery, all the while unknowingly outwitting a very hungry Cat. Along the way, Ugly meets a whole flock of unique characters and finds out being different is not a bad thing to be.

A digital copy will be available for purchase FOR $35 of this production.  Within 3 business days after THE production has been recorded, cast members and parents will receive an email with a link to purchase and download the video to their choice of device. That link can be forwarded by the cast members and parents, making it easier for family and friends to also purchase and download a copy of the production recording.

Tuition & Fees

The tuition and costume fee for this production is $350 for youth ages 7-16, 10% sibling discount. Sibling discount on 2nd registration will be refunded via PayPal within 24 hours of payment received.

PLEASE NOTE: Early registration for this show will end at 9pm on Thursday August 13th. A late fee of $50 will automatically be added to all registrations (online registration and in-person online registration) after 9pm on 8/13. Registration for this show will close at 5:45pm on Friday 8/14/26.

AuDItion Information

Those auditioning should bring an accompaniment on a mobile device to sing with. You may also sing acapella if needed.

New procedure after auditions:

Once you finish auditioning, you will exit the auditorium and no longer receive a slip saying what time to arrive the following day. Instead, please look for an email from the Production Stage Manager with details indicating your arrival time the following day, as well as any additional information. Dismissal times will vary. Thank you!
