COLLEGE INFORMATION SESSION

Wednesday April 3rd 7:15-8:45 p.m.

College Information Session for those interested in pursuing Musical Theatre led by Jackie Hammond, MTA's Producing Artistic Director, Alison Westerlind, Leadership Consultant and former Director of College Counseling, and Jeff Rickey, former Vice President of Admissions and Financial Aid!

Get advice on important steps to take in high school, how to prepare for the college audition process, and considerations for financial aid all in a 90 minute presentation!

This workshop is open to anyone entering 8th-12th grade in 2024-2025 who is seriously considering attending college for musical theatre. Jackie will walk you through some of the pre-work required to ensure you know what to expect in pursuing this major and will provide spreadsheets, research information, and other logistics regarding the pre-screening and audition processes. Alison will discuss academic considerations in high school, how to develop your college list, and how to think about extracurricular activities during high school. Jeff will discuss the financial aid process, tips for families, and resources you can use now.
