Winnie the Pooh KIDS (all youth ages 6-12 are cast)

Disney's Winnie the Pooh KIDS is a delightful show based on the beloved characters of A.A. Milne and the 2011 Disney animated feature film. Featuring favorite songs from the film, as well as new hits by the Academy Award-winning Robert and Kristen Lopez (Frozen), this honey-filled delight is as sweet as it is fun. Welcome to the Hundred Acre Wood, where Winnie the Pooh is once again in search of honey. Along the way, he meets his pals, Tigger, Piglet, Rabbit and Owl, but soon discovers that Christopher Robin has been captured by the mysterious Backson! As they prepare for a rescue operation, the animals learn about teamwork, friendship and, of course... sharing snacks.

AUDITION INFORMATION

Those auditioning should bring a musical theatre song (or any song they are comfortable with), 16-32 bars or one minute in length. Bring an accompaniment with CD or mobile device to sing with. You may also sing acapella if needed.

Due to the recent rise in Covid cases, MTA will be implementing updated procedures regarding testing and masks, noted below, to ensure the health and safety of our participants and staff members.  

• July 6th (during registration) and July 13th Covid Testing will be done at MTA by professional nurses for All Winnie the Pooh Participants and Production Staff (testing is required regardless of vaccination status).
• If a cast member tests positive on 7/6 during registration testing at MTA, a full tuition refund will be given to the participant.
• If a cast member becomes ill and tests positive at home from 7/7 - 7/12, a full tuition refund will be given to the participant along with ticket refunds for participant's family and friends.
• If a cast member tests positive on 7/13 during testing at MTA, a 50% tuition refund will be given to the participant along with ticket refunds for participant's family and friends.
• If a cast member becomes ill or tests positive at home during tech or performances 7/14-7/16, a tuition credit of $150 will be given to the participant to use at an upcoming MTA production along with ticket refunds for participant's family and friends.
• If a cast member tests positive and recently had Covid, proof of prior Covid (with the date) will be required in order to continue in the show.
• Cast members or production staff members who are sick or displaying symptoms of any kind (allergies, flu, cold, etc.) should stay home, perform an at-home Covid test and notify MTA immediately.
  
• Masks will be worn during all rehearsals (7/6-7/13) and backstage during performances/tech (7/14-7/16) by all Winnie the Pooh Cast Members and Production Staff.
• Masks will be required for all Winnie the Pooh Volunteers. 
• Masks will remain optional for all audience members during Winnie the Pooh.
